Every
Sunday afternoon, the dances at the Hiawatha gather people from
all over Southeastern Wisconsin and Northeastern Illinois to enjoy
music from the best in polka-variety bands. Hosts Bill and
Hazel Schend invite you to stop in to this cozy, friendly place and
experience the pure fun and enjoyment of one of Wisconsin's most
popular and cherished afternoon dances.
Readers of the Racine Journal Times voted the Hiawatha to have the best
dance floor in the area. Established in 1954, the Hiawatha is
conveniently located on Highway 11 just a few miles
east of I-94.
