Since
the late 1970's, Bob Breuer (pronounced "Bry-er") has been
performing
for weddings, anniversaries, and all other varieties of public and
private
events. Bob is well-known for his wide repertoire of music,
playing
everything from polkas and waltzes to swing, country, latin, foxtrots,
rock, and much more. His expansive knowledge of different styles
of music puts him in demand by various clubs and local public dances
throughout
the area.
Bob has also put together a "polka mass" worship
service, having arranged popular, traditional hymns with a polka beat.
Also
a proficient drummer and bass guitarist, Bob performs with many other
bands.
A few of the bandleaders who've hired Bob over the years have included
Kenny Brandt, Tom Brusky, Verne & Steve Meisner, Tony Rademacher,
Dave
Schmidt, Mike Schneider, The Julida Boys, and Jeff Winard. Bob
was
inducted into the Wisconsin Polka Hall of Fame in 2002 as a recipient
of
the Sideman of the Year award.
